Ash L\u00f3pez is Los Angeles based socially conscious techie. She is from South Central Los Angeles and was raised in the Antelope Valley, where she was elected as a state delegate for the California Democratic Party. With over a decade of volunteering, she has served on several LGBTQ non-profit boards.<\/p>\n

Ash also loves making the world a braver + kinder place as a youth leader with Lady Gaga\u2019s Born This Way Foundation and co-authored a New York Times Bestseller, \u201cCHANNEL KINDNESS: Stories of Kindness and Community\u201d, with Lady Gaga herself!<\/p>\n

Ash and her work have been featured in Paper Magazine, the MTV Music Awards, and the United Nations. Ash was recently recognized for her leadership serving the LGBTQ Latinx community as an Honor 21 Honoree.<\/p>\n

Ash currently attends SMC and ECC where she is a CS and computational neuroscience major. Aside from being a lovable nerd, you can find Ash spending time with her family or front-row at a great concert.<\/p>
